            Jesse Thielke, jr., Germantown: Two-time state champion won the 125 D1 title a year ago and is among the top lightweights in the nation. Broken jaw -- sustained during a training accident with former Olympian Dennis Hall -- is now fully healed and he is favored to win a third D1 title this year.

	Derek Olson, sr., Muskego: Perhaps no wrestler is under more pressure to win a state title this year. Three-time state qualifier has advanced to a state Division 1 final the past two years and seeks first state title this year. Ranked No. 1 in state at 152 pounds to begin the year.

	Alex Dieringer, jr., Port Washington: Won the 103 D1 title as a freshman and finished second in D2 last year at 125. Member of the Wisconsin Cadet Greco-Roman team that won a national title this summer in Fargo, N.D. Dieringer won the 130 national title. Ranked No. 1 at 135 in D1, but wrestled as high as 145 last weekend in dual tournament Luxemburg-Casco.

	Davion Willis, sr., Milwaukee Custer: Finished fourth at state at 160 a year ago and over the summer became the first member of the City Kids Wrestling Club to win summer state championship when he won the 171 Greco title.

	Nick Becker, soph., Hartford: Fourth brother in the family to qualify for state as a freshman a year ago. Finished fourth at 112. Grew a lot in off season and will wrestle 130 or 135 this year. 

	Roland Dunlap, soph., Muskego: Finished fifth at 171 a year ago and is ranked No. 3 this year. Has been slowed by shoulder injury.

	Tyler Quartullo, jr., Muskego: Two-time state qualifier and place winner finished fifth a year ago at 119 with a 43-6 record. Ranked No. 3 at 125.

	Jake Sueflohn, jr., Arrowhead: Two-time state qualifier finished second to Thielke at 125 a year ago in D1. Sueflohn is the only wrestler to defeat Thielke in high school. Sueflohn beat Thielke, 7-6, in sectional final a year ago. Ranked No. 2 at 135.

	Bill Mitchell, sr., South Milwaukee: Top returning heavyweight in the area after finishing fourth in 285 in D1 a year ago with a record of 42-6. Ranked No. 3 in D1 at 285.

	Jake Zess, sr., East Troy. Finished fifth in D2 at 125 with a record of 47-4.

	Cody Seibel, jr/sr., Kewaskum: Failed to advance to state despite being ranked No. 1 a year ago at 189 most of year. Finished third in a brutal regional at Milwaukee Lutheran and opens year ranked No. 4 at 189 this year.

	Tyler Semrad, sr., Waukesha West: Entered sectional a year ago with 43-0 record, but failed to qualify for state.

	Brad Bentz, jr., Kewaskum: Two-time state qualifier finished fourth at 130 in D2 a year ago.

	Josh Berg, sophomore, Pewaukee: Finished fifth at 103 in D2 a year ago and opened year ranked No. 2 in state at 112.
