Beloit: In the Southeast’s toughest Regional, Milton scored 201.5 points to win the team title, followed by Kenosha Tremper (194), Wilmot (190.5) and Burlington (148).  Milton advanced 10 wrestlers to sectionals and emerged with three champions in Garrett Whitehead (103), Ian Johnson (160) and James Miller (189). Milton also had five second-place finishers. Tremper advanced 12 wrestlers to sectionals and saw Tyler Rice (103) and Dominic Garcia (119) win titles. Tremper had only two second-place finishers, and that was costly in the race for the team title. Burlington, the area’s only undefeated dual meet team, advanced nine wrestlers to sectionals, but had only one champion in Tyler Rice (103) and no second-place finishers.

	Kaukauna:  Kaukauna scored 256 points and saw five wrestlers win individual titles to win the team championship with 256 points. Manitowoc finished second with 232 points, despite being in the hunt for the team title for much of the tournament. Kaukauna saw Austin Hietpas (103), Josiah Bobier (119), Scott VanDeLoo (152), Josh Weber (160) and Noah Budi (189) win titles. Kaukauna advanced 12 wrestlers to the sectionals and had four wrestlers finish second. Manitowoc qualified 13 wrestlers for sectionals and had a pair of champions in Kyle Berchem (130) and Adam Shavlik. Kaukauna also had four wrestlers finish second, but went 0-3 against Kaukauna in the finals in key head-to-head battles for the team title. Other wrestlers of note to win titles included Sheboygan North’s Tony Perl (112), Port Washington’s Justin Meins (125), Port’s Jake Meachtle (135), Port’s Alex Dieringer (140) and Cedarburg’s Cody Sigler (145).

Milwaukee Marquette: Milwaukee Bradley Tech advanced 10 wrestlers to sectionals and had three individual champions and six second-place finshers as it won the team title with 215 points. Oak Creek finished second with 204 points. Tech’s champions were Ferriez Johnson (112), Travis Smith (130) and Rodney Daniels (140).  Oak Creek advanced 10 wrestlers. Oak Creek’s champions were Matt Blower (125), Jeremiah Butler (135), Josh Regazzi (160), Mitch Dolan (171) and Kyle Wey (189). Other notable champions included Marquette’s Gabe Grahek (103), Marquette’s Brett Geilenfeldt (215) and South Milwaukee’s Bill Mitchell (285).

Slinger: Fond du Lac advanced 10 wrestlers to the sectionals and scored 199 points to win the team title. Fond du Lac had four individual champions in Steven Thompson (130), Luke Roffers (160), Justin Birschbach (171) and Chris Alexander (189). Neenah finished second with 180.5 points and finished with two champions in Alex Kueck (119) and Sam McGinnis (152), but was hurt by five second-place finishers in the race for the team title. Other notable winners included Oshkosh North’s Zach Bruley (103), West Bend West’s Gunnar Melstrand (135), West Bend West’s Steve Sizer (215) and Slinger’s Jake Schall (285).

	Watertown: Mukwonago had nine wrestlers advance to the sectionals and won the team title with four champions, four second-place finishers and 218.5 points. Elkhorn finished second with 172 points. Mukwonago’s champions were Hank Mattson (119), Ryan Aprahamian (152), Damon King (189) and Tyler Ladwig (285). Elkhorn had eight sectional qualifiers and one champion in KC Verhoeven (171). Other notable champions included Waterford’s Austin Christenson (112), Oconomowoc’s Zach Mommaerts (125), Oconomowoc’s Jake Morrison (140), Watertown’s Justin McFarland (160) and Kettle Moraine’s Jake Laux (215).

	Waukesha South: Muskego ran away with the team title by scoring 194.5 points, well ahead of second-place Brookfield East (165). Musekgo came away with six individual champions in Justin Scherkenbach (112), Tyler Quartullo (130), Jordan Lau (140), Jordan Sowinski (145), Roland Dunlap (171) and Jordan Gruettner (189). Brookfield East advanced eight wrestlers to sectionals and came away with three champions in Casey Dentino (103), Justin Wolfenden (125) and Larry Watson (160). Of note, Brookfield East senior Joey Woppert finished third at 145. Other notable champions included Waukesha West’s Tyler Semrad (119), Brookfield Central’s Tyler Veling (152) and Waukesha North’s Cody Ybarra (215).

	West Allis Hale: West Allis Central ripped the tournament apart by winning eight individual titles, qualifying all 14 wrestlers for sectionals and scoring 298 points. West Allis Hale finished second with 174 points. Central’s champions were Donald Dargan (103), Skyler Pedersen (112), Jake Sargent (125), Dylan Diebitz (135), Terry Fletcher (140), Joe Immekus (152), Dan Diebitz (171) and Lucas Gritzmacher (285). Other champions of note included West Allis Hale’s Andy Moyle (119), Hale’s Tyler Bauer (145), Wisconsin Lutheran’s Darvel Winfrey (160) and Milwaukee Pius’ Max Blodgett (189).
Whitnall: Franklin qualified all 13 wrestlers it entered in the regional for sectionals and scored 146 points to run away with the team title. Greenfield finished second with 203.5 pionts. Franklin’s champions were Sam Kortes (112), Colin DeClark (119), Adam Stelloh (135), Kyle Smith (152), Adam Langowski (160) and Brenden Butler (285). Greenfield qualified 10 wreslters for sectionals. Greenfield’s champions were Steve Fisher (125), Kevin Vazquez (145) and Patrick Bruyette (215). Other notable champions included Whitnall’s Zach Noel (130) and Racine Horlick’s Alex Amann (140).

	Pewaukee: Pewaukee wasn’t challenged at the D2 regional, winning with seven champions and 279 points at the six-team event. Union Grove finished second with 189 points, followed by East Troy with 184. Pewaukee’s champions included Max Nonnamaker (112), Mitch Teeters (119), Josh Berg (125), Chris Czech (135), Mike Dusel (145), Travis Decker (171) an Kent Grimscheid (215). Union Grove qualified six wrestlers for sectionals and had three champions in Matt Pejovic (103), Guy Keeku (189) and Sam Jarosz (285). East Troy also sent six wrestlers to sectionals, including regional champions Steve Edwards (130), Jake Zess (140) and Adam Kehl (152).

	Kewaskum: Campbellsport crowned eight individual champions, advanced nine wrestlers to sectionals and scored 264.5 points to win the team title. Kewaskum finished second with 243 points. Campbellsport’s champions were Ryan Costello (103), Parker Peterson (112), Chet Floyd (125), Rashaun Sparks (130), Zach Gassner (145), Payden Salm (152), James Hawley (171) and Zach Wetzel (189). Kewaskum advanced nine wrestlers to sectionals and had five champions. Kewaskum’s champions were Jared Koffke (119), Caleb Olla (135), Rob Maertz (140), Bo Seibel (160) and Cody Seibel (215).
Heritage Christian: Greendale Martin Luther won the D3 regional with 216.5 points, followed by Milwaukee Heritage Christian with 164 points. Martin Luther advanced to the team sectionals for the first time by advancing seven wrestlers and having two champions in Alex Blundon (189) and Tom Miklos (215). Martin Luther also had 13 of its 14 wrestlers place fourth or higher at the tournament. Heritage Christian received titles from Chris Martin (103), Cole Fraser (171) and Dylan Lange (285). Other notable champions were Palmyra-Eagle’s Caleb Lucht and Kenosh St. Joe’s Spencer Lemens (140).
